Lash After Care
When Can I get My Lash Extensions Wet?
It is preferable to wait 24 hours to get your lash extensions wet after they have been applied. I do use a nano bonder on the lashes after each service, that allows the client to get their lashes wet immediately if needed; though it is still encouraged to wait if you are able.
How Often Should I Brush My Lash Extensions?
You should brush your eyelash extensions daily. Brush your lash extensions after sleeping, washing, and throughout the day as needed.
How Often Do I Wash My Lash Extensions?
You should wash your eyelash extensions daily. Sebum, bacteria and allergens can build up around the lash follicles causing irritation. The cleaner you keep your lash extensions the longer they will last.
How Do I Wash My Face With Lash Extensions?
Use oil free cleansers when cleaning your lash extensions. Lash soap can be purchased at the Luxe Esthetics by Darienne studio.
Can I Wear Makeup With My Lash Extensions?
Make up can be worn with eyelash extensions but please avoid wearing mascara and any products that are oil based. Avoid wearing products directly along the lash line and remove make up from around your eyes daily.
Things To Avoid:
- Avoid excessive moisture, this can weaken the bond over time and cause the eyelash extensions to fall off prematurely. Avoid salt water around your eyes if swimming.
- Avoid oil-based products and cleansers. Do not use waterproof make up products, mascara, or eyelash curlers.
- Avoid rubbing your eyes and pulling/picking at your eyelash extensions
- Avoid sleeping on your stomach
- Be careful when around hot elements such as ovens and barbeques. The excessive heat can damage your eyelash extensions and cause them to lose their curl.
